Add a search term (optional) in the search box and/or click a category and one or more tags.
You can just do a simple search without selecting a category or any tags,
or you can just select a category or some tags. If your result is blank,
then you selected more than one category or too many tags.
Or, your search term was not in the database.
Once you have your search ready, hit the ENTER key on your keyboard,
or scroll down to the bottom of this page and click Submit.
(Since categories do not overlap, clicking more than one category
will leave you with an empty search result.
But, many posts have multiple tags, and tags DO overlap.)
Categories
All of the passages in the database for this site usually fit under more than one category. Unfortunately, this can make things a bit confusing. So, I have made each passage connected to the category that fits best with those verses. But, sometimes the connection is not as obvious. That is why I have created three tags:
1st Tier – explicitly and obviously a part of the category
2nd Tier – less explicit, but supportive of the Tier 1 passages
3rd Tier – passages that would not appear to be a part of that category, but are still connected.
All of this is based on my own understanding of what should go where. I could be wrong, and would be glad if you could prove that I am – so that I could make this project more accurate.
However, there are some categories that might need a little explanation:
Christians – This is about the specific mention of Christians, even though the word ‘Christian’ isn’t used but if you are a Christian, you are called by the name of God the Son – Christ.
Ezekiel’s Fire – If you’ve read my book Ezekiel’s Fire, you’ll know that it is about a specific series of cataclysmic events that occur at the time of the Redemption of Israel. Ezekiel 39 said that God would “send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles.” So, a fire in Ezekiel? Okay, Ezekiel’s Fire. Oh and the book? It’s free, but you can buy it on Amazon, if you want. By the way, I’ve separated out some of the events of “Ezekiel’s Fire” into separate categories like Gog and Magog and Global Earthquake. If you want all the passages together, just click the Ezekiel’s Fire Tag.
Tags
This is where the tags come in. Searching those tags will help refine your search and give you a better search result. Most tags are easy to understand, but there are a few that might puzzle you.
One of those puzzling tags is the one ‘uncertain’, which means that there is something that I’m not sure about in either the category of that passage, its tags or something similar.
Another one is the ‘Fulfilled and Unfulfilled’ tag. That one means that the prophecy has been active already but is still yet to be fulfilled completely.
The ‘Other’ tag is just a catchall for other subjects that I didn’t want to create a tag for. The list is pretty long already, so adding another bunch of tags to an already confusing list would seem to be a bad idea.
I’ve already described the Ezekiel’s Fire Category, but the Ezekiel’s Fire Tag includes other passages that are connected to Ezekiel’s Fire.
First Draft
All of this is in First Draft stage. There is a lot more work to be done and some errors to fix, but I wanted this in your hands. And yes, there will be new content in the main section.
